We offer a multitude of offerings which include drywall repair, plumbing, simple electrical work, carpentry work, interior and exterior finish work, rotted exterior trim as well as a new service that’s called Get Dad’s Opinion. This new service will help the prospective home buyer fully understand what they are about to embark upon.

This new service isn’t meant to replace the conventional Home Inspection, but is meant to give you a full report with an independent estimating tool showing you the must do’s today and what can be placed into the To Do List for the future.
A BIT ABOUT US
I started Gotta Call Dad FIVE years ago with the idea that I would finally do something that I wanted to do. It’s what I love. My entire career before this was in Healthcare Sales. I’ve owned 8 houses throughout my life and I’ve worked on all of them from roofs to finished basement to kitchen remodels.

I am announcing a new service starting in 2026. I recently received a referral to help a young woman perform some repairs and maintenance on a home which she recently purchased. The home hadn’t been maintained very well and needs some extensive work. I feel bad for this person as she could have used a guiding hand before purchase. The new service is called Get Dad’s Opinion.

This new service will survey a potential home that the client is interested in buying. It will produce a report with photos and estimates for the properties issues and needs. I DO NOT need any more handyman work as my Monday to Friday job is full. I’m performing this service for the client so that they can be in a better negotiating position when it comes time to make an offer. This service is in addition to a licensed home inspection .

My service will use a drone to record and inspect the roof, soffits, windows and trim. A infrared thermal camera will look for cold spots-lack of insulation or a water leak and a moisture meter will confirm these findings. Once I’ve compiled everything, you will receive a report which will outline the things that have to be done as well as the items that can be put off for a bit. The report will contain estimates using a publicly available website that estimates jobs based on zip code. You are getting my experience. I’m the person who sees the how and why every day and repairs them for a living. You are also welcome to ask my opinion on what I think. This is what sets us apart from a standard home inspection.
